Here are some useful tips how to save space and avoid what’s happening over the other Ning sites…
Really easy_
- You can simply delete your old comments.
- Also you can delete your old messages in your (inbox) and don’t forget the (sent) ones as well… simply clearing your mail.
- Okay… now the real deal… please try not to upload big-sized photos… and I really hope that you can be limited when it comes to uploading photos, here’s what I mean… for example I’ve noticed that some members over here are fascinated with nature snapshots, there are like dozens different photos for sunsets or clouds or sky!... that's taking too much space... I realize that family moments are really precious, and members want to share them... and I wouldn't ask to take those away... but I can't see the point of slightly different snapshots of a tree...!!!
Instead, to uplaod as many photos as you want to, without taking too much space on the 360Pals... You can open an account with Photobucket, or any other Photo Websites that offers embedded codes... post your Photos over there... and then you can simply copy-paste the embedded code into your text box over here.
or If you want to add a Link to your Photo Flickr, Photobucket or any Web Albums, you can refer to the discussions on the main page titled: (How to add Links to Photos or Videos)
- And now the real big deal, lol: _ Videos and Songs… if you are uploading them from a website, such as YouTube, then it is okay… But! If you are uploading them from your Computer, so please take it easy, let’s not over-do it in uploading these things; they are a monster space taker… it would be great if you make a Hyperlink to your Video or Song instead of uploading them… you can refer to the discussions on the main page titled: (How to add Links to Photos or Videos) … I made it very easy for you all.
Please know that when you first joined, there were only few members over here… this place is growing every day… so it would great for the new members to enjoy posting their family or personal pictures and share their precious moments as you did… I find it unfair to take away that right from them… so let’s all help them achieve that.
